The changes to the casing of the new iPhone 5

The new iPhone 5 seems have gone through some major changes according to rumors and unofficial news. So far according to what we have heard the new iPhone 5 will carry a larger 4 inch display, that’s 16:9. It will retain the same width as the iPhone 4s but will be taller. Further the case used for the iPhone 5 will be noticeable thinner when compared with the previous version of iPhones.

Certain rumors say that Apple will try to minimize the boarder around the display to have a larger display. Further the new iPhone will have a smaller sim card tray which will be designed for the nano-SIM which was approved not long ago.

The speaker grill design for the new phone has also changed and the earphone jack will now be at the bottom of the phone. A smaller dock will be used suggesting the existing iPhone peripherals will work with the new dock connector.
