Users can now choose the texts of photographs and so they translated directly through the app. The function can be used on all Android smartphones and tables that at least version 2.3 (Gingerbread) have. Moreover, the app now recognizes some Japanese characters at the same time. The Google Translator app can be downloaded for free in the Google Play Store. Street View can be used to see the world in Google Maps, but - so far - users were forced to stay on the ground. That all changes today, as the first Google added underwater panoramas on Google maps - and began with the Great Barrier Reef.
